The Gulf of Mexico offshore of North West Florida is well known for its calm sea conditions and excellent year round deep sea fishing. Destin, located along the Florida Panhandle directly across from the Gulf of Mexico is the perfect take-off point to access and enjoy this awesome deep sea fishing.
Depending on the fishing season, you will catch all sorts of different species of fish while fishing offshore of Destin, aboard fishing boat. Deep sea fishing on the Gulf of Mexico for grouper and snapper is good most any time of the year. Other offshore fish such as kingfish, cobia, tuna, amberjack, Spanish mackerel, dolphin, shark, barracuda, tarpon, permit, mahi and giant red fish are all caught as they seasonally migrate through the deep-sea waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
All you need to bring is a cooler with your food and drinks, your sunscreen and cameras. Tackle, licenses, and dead bait are supplied along with a friendly 1st mate to get everything ready and help you along the way.

Your mate will handle the fish and make sure they meet local requirements. Upon return to the dock, he'll hang your fish on the board for a great photo, and then fillet them so all you have to do is cook and eat. He can also offer you some great recipes.
